Do you know how the rewards work? I think you just get the $20 back and then you have to spend it at Staples, but I don’t think it’s cash. Can you please advise, as I haven’t done the rewards program before?

Yes, that is correct Kim, you get the $20 back via Staples rewards which is like a check that can be used on Staples items. I usually buy my printer ink with my rewards since I have to buy it anyways.

Easy Rebates come as a check that you can cash. Staples Rewards are coupons for in store credit that expire after a few months. The Rewards post the month after you earn them, then you can print them out at home and take them to Staples to spend. Staples Rewards are considered a coupon and deducted from the value of your purchase when they figure rewards credits on the purchase. They do not “Roll” on any purchase that generates a Reward.

The single ream of paper above is a rebate. The case of paper is a Reward.

CAUTION READERS — Posted Deal is factually incorrect. Staples Rewards are not the same as Staples Easy Rebate, and expire if not applied to a later Staples purchase. Jan’s comment is right.

Its all still free after rewards and rebates – but I fixed the wording to make it all a little clearer for you all to understand. And I fixed the prices, thanks all for bringing this to my attention! It IS still free after rewards, and its a smokin’ hot deal!
