  1. Do you know if for the $1.40 items if I have to buy 5 of those items, or can I buy 3 of the $1 items and 2 of the $1.40 items for the discounted price? Does that make sense?

  2. childrens place in the kennewick mall is having the monster sale. almost everything in the store is 3.99 and 2.99! i scored some hoodies, jeans, track suits, etc. all for under 4 bucks each! wahoo!

  3. Do any of you couponers ever use the Albertson ads to price match at Walmart? I live an hour from Albertsons and don’t think I’ll have time to make the drive before this sale ends. I’ve price matched “regular” ad prices before at WM but not super sales like this and was wondering if WM lets us. And then if we can use coupons on top of it?
.-= leslie´s last blog for me wednesday – my favorite parenting book! =-.

  4. Phooey! I just went to the mall tonight and hit every store BUT Childrens’ Place…..nobody else had great clearance sales so I figured they didn’t either! Bummer! So…. “Post-It” cereal on sale eh? 🙂 love you and your blog lots and lots!

  5. Leslie, I’m guessing that walmart will price match for you, they are usually pretty good about that. But I’d suggest giving them a call and asking, that way you won’t waste a trip if they don’t.

  6. Wal-Mart should definitely match the price of an item that is advertised in print (you’ll have to have the original ad to show them – I don’t think a printout of the ad picture from the web will cut it). But they don’t offer the extra catalinas or “instant savings” deals that you sometimes get if you go to a regular grocery store. Wal-Mart also says they match “local” competitor ads, so if your Albertson’s is an hour away, they may not consider it “local”. Amy is right, call WM first to check!

  7. Albertsons on Leslie and Gage said the $1 off Quaker oatmeal coupons are fraud. There are signs posted at the register and by the oatmeal.

  8. That’s totally bogus, Beckie! Thanks for letting us know. I can promise you the store on Lee will take them. 🙂
    .-= Melody´s last blog ..ALBERTSONS WEEKLY DEALS 1/27 – 2/2 =-.

  9. Funny, but the Manager from Lee was at Clearwater when the email was sent about the Quaker being fradulent. They asked me to show them what it looked like. I also found them in the parking lot from people throwing them on the ground after not being able to use them. These even reset from the first round of printing. Clearwater Albs and Gage have asked that I post that they are allowing you to prepay and use coupons for items that are out of stock but not allowing people to pre-order. Sounds great for the doublers coming on Sunday!

  10. The Alberstons on Edison and Cleawater told me the same (fraud)when I tried to use my 1/1..

  11. So Amber, does that mean that the Lee store is not taking them either? I had a friend go this morning and they worked just fine. Just curious..

  12. My $1/1 oatmeal actually scanned and worked. I printed them off a valid coupon site. I went to Albies on Court around 8am.

  13. Does anyone know if the coupons on the back page of the Albertson’s ad such as the Bertolli pasta sauce can be used on multiples of two of that item, or is it just a limit of two? Can I buy four and get the lower price on all four or just on two?

  14. I went this morning at 11:30 to the Albie’s on Gage & they took mine. They were coupons I printed a couple weeks ago. Hmm…

  15. Apparently there was a .pdf sent around among some people here that was a copy of the bricks coupon. That is the coupon that is fraudulent, because obviously bricks coupons are only 2 per computer, all having unique numbers. Unfortunately, the Lee store got several hundred of them by 10:00 by several people (SHAME ON YOU, WHOEVER YOU ARE!!) who were walking away with their baskets full of items for free, so the mgr there called Quaker to check the validity. Because the unique numbers on those coupons thee same, they just decided it would be too difficult to try and make sure the numbers were all different, so Alb’s decided to pull them all. they’re not disputing that some are real, but with all the foot traffic they’re getting for this sale they don’t have time to mess with them. Just goes to show how one person can wreck it for everyone. Keep these deals honest, girls!!

  16. BTW…by HERE I didn’t mean this website. I meant locally. 🙂

  17. When I was at the store two gals were doing their shopping. They had a handful of coupons, I’m guessing over 50. I asked her where she got all of them and she said off ebay.

  18. I’ve been in contact with the store manager from the Gage store (he is also the Leslie store manager). My last e-mail I also included Karrie and Lori from NW Coupon Lady in the conversation so they too should have received his latest reply. I posted his reply to the coupon fraud on my site as well as his comments on other internet printable coupons plus ones that are for free items.

  19. the deal with the popcorn and pop…you can’t use another coupon and/or doubler with it (the in-store coupon says no).
Still a good deal at 3.19 for 4 items.

  20. What’s up with
It (the page) won’t load for me??
