Comments

  1. Fine print says limit one per customer. Will this roll? Also states you must hit $20 AFTER coupons.

    • Ya know, this is new! I am guessing it will still roll. I guess we will see if its really after coupons..I will have to try this and get back to you.

  2. Karrie – I went to Albertsons this morning. My $7 catalina printed even though my AFTER coupon total (for GM items) was around $11. My pre-coupon was $20. I did not try to roll this. Of course YMMV, but I wanted to give you a head’s up!
.-= Crystal´s last blog ..Registering for Baby at Target… =-.

  3. I am struggling with the fact that we “know” we need to spend $20 for the promotion…. yet people are clearly disregarding this because the catalina is still printing. I feel that it is our obligation, once educated on policy, to follow the policy. I don’t want to be preachy because I know I have made mistakes but to knowingly go around the rules of the promotion I think is wrong. I am all for great deals, I just really feel that we need to follow the rules to get the good deal. Just my 2 cents.

  4. I just read on thekrazycouponlady that there is talk of doublers for Sunday…YAY!

  5. Has anyone tried to roll the CAT? I will try it tomorrow.

  6. Catalina printed fine for me too with under $20 after coupons. Had it not printed I wouldn’t have argued but it is their job to make sure it prints with the correct amount purchased. I don’t see how that is dishonest.

  7. I totally understand your point Kerrin, I’ve read comments with similar feelings on a few other blogs. One comment that I read did make a valid point though. Why should the non-couponer be able to spend $20 and receive a catalina, but those of use who use coupons don’t? The store is still receiving the same amount, whether it be cash in hand or being reimbursed by the companies who issue coupons. Just a point of view I had never thought of.

There are still a few ways to make this promotion pretty decent even if your after-coupon total is over $20, by combining the general promotion with the catalinas for fruit snacks and Fiber One bars.
.-= Melody´s last blog ..ALBERTSONS: NEW CATALINAS AND DEAL SCENARIO =-.

  8. Albertson’s in Pasco (probably other TC ones as well) has the Chillin catalina promotion. Purchase 10 of the listed products and 2 $5 catalinas print for next shopping order.

  9. what is the Chillin catalina promotion?

  10. I was in the store today and saw signs about the Chillin Promo. It is buy 10 participating items and get a $10 cat. One of the sign I saw listed the items that are included in the promo and there are also tags on items that are included. The ones that I noticed were Red Baron Pizza and all the hot and lean pocket items. I ask for a list or flyer about the promo and was told that it is on the Sun ad. I will be updating the State Shopping List as soon as I see the ad. I do know that is it a frozen food promo because March is frozen food month.
