I got the sure jel coupon too. In fact, I get three papers every Sunday and one of my papers had seven smart source booklets! I’ll definitely be making jam!
BUT Coupon Connections is reporting only TWO (not three) doublers per paper. Is Albies going downhill? First no doublers at CS, now a shortage of doublers? Albies REMOVED doublers all together from a couple states (which they deemed “had fewer customers take advantage of the deal”), and now they’re reducing their numbers in states (that they deem) DO use them fully (so I know we shouldn’t be complaining, but….)? This reeks of double-standard to me, and maybe a bit of corporate greed as well.
I was told a couple of weeks ago that the corporation has been getting too many complaints by their “regular” shopper and had to do something to “control the chaos with coupons”. They are trying to reduce the time a couponer is in the checkout lane and are trying two methods. One reducing the doublers to two per paper and then (at least locally) reducing transactions to two per customer. That means we can only do two transactions before taking our items to the car and then returning to do more shopping. I totally get the concept but there have got to be better ways to go about this process. I’ve been a loyal Albie’s customer but I’ll have to start considering Winco and Walmart pricematching if this continues. Too bad really.
Hi Albertsons Fans! We’re excited to announce that we’ll be bringing our Twice the Value coupons to our Montana & Wyoming shoppers by including these special savings inserts in select local newspapers this weekend! Our customers are clearly very passionate about having access to these special savings, and we’re happy to be able to offer these savings to our shoppers.
We wanted to let you know that two Twice the Value coupons will run this Sunday (7/31) in several newspapers throughout our Intermountain West Albertsons locations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. We understand that a number of our customers rely on these coupons, and hope you understand that we aren’t discontinuing our Twice the Value savings program but instead exploring new ways to give our customers the best shopping experience possible.
Please continue to share your feedback with us, as we always value comments from our customers. We do have some exciting changes that we can’t wait to share with you, so know that we are working to bring new savings opportunities to our most loyal shoppers. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

I am in Washington and I got the $1.00/2 sure jel coupon.
I saw on another blog we may be getting doublers this weekend. And I too got the $1/2 sure jel. I believe it was in the seattle times.
I get the TCH and I got that coupon too.
