  1. Bummer, NO Albies adds in my papers. Picked them up at the dollar store in Richland then went to check papers at Fredies and no Albies add in their papers either.

  2. Went to the Albie’s on Gage & Leslie this a.m. and they have a new rule–When shopping a buy-so-much, get-so-much off your next shopping trip sale, you have to reach the total after doublers. Gosh, I’m having a hard time explaining this.
For instance, I was shopping the Buy $30 worth of General Mills products, receive $15 off your next shopping trip sale. My total came to $30.19 before coupons and since I had 3 doublers that were each for $1 off, I had to run back and get $3 more worth of GM products to get the $15 back.
Anyone know if the Albie’s on Lee is doing the same?
Also, I was annoyed that they were out of the YoPlus I was going to use for the promotion and they were out of Danimals Drinkable Yogurt, too. Grrr….

  3. I used doublers this morning at the Edison store and got the $15 back. That is a crappy new rule.

    Good doublers deal:
The Chinet crystal cups are $2.50 and there is a blinkie machine with $1/1Qs. Combine with the FREE chinet cups wyb ( tearpad and peelies found at Gage store)…… and doublers and get 2 packs of Chinet cups for $.50 +tax.

  4. Martha, did you get Saturday’s paper by any chance? Or was it indeed Sunday’s? I know that the Exxon/Sunmart gas station near the mall didn’t get any ad packs with their papers so it’s possible that other places got Sunday papers without ads either.

  5. Also, if you printed the IPs for $1 off Diamond nuts, they are $2.50 this week so $.50 after doublers.

  6. Yasmin, No, it was Sunday’s paper. They are missing Walgreens ad too. Same as last week; missing Walgreens ad. Had everything else though, so not a total loss since I got my coupons inserts.

  7. I did the GM promo at the Albertson’s on Lee in Richland and had no problem. My total was about $31 before coupons and doublers. The cashier scanned my savings card before ringing everything up. She also accepted my coupons and doublers. I paid $26 out of pocket and got my $15 Catalina! I used that for the BIGI free sirloin steaks for which I used 2 $5 Catalinas and paid $0.70 out of pocket. Whoo-hoo! So I’d suggest shopping at the Lee store.

  8. Tiffany, I always have a hard time at the albie’s on gage & leslie. On several occasions they refused my internet coupons. They were valid coupons, but the cashier made up something ridiculous about having a barcode at the top. So I rarely go there anymore.
On a different note, the albie’s on Edison was out of 4 things I needed to get to my $30, and I couldn’t even find the guacamole. I was so irritated that I almost left my cart. Not a good shopping day for me.

  9. WOw-I can’t believe the negative reports for the Albies on Gage-I LOVE that one. The Lee one is closer but I have had problems there and things being out of stock so I drive the extra miles to the Gage store and I LOVE it. Any time something goes wrong-they close down the lane and the cashier goes way out of their way to help make it right.

  10. We picked up a few papers from the shell station on road 68 in pasco. none of the 4 had anything from albertson’s. a couple were also missing rite-aid ads. all of them had walgreens ads though. i went down to albie’s on Lee and went to customer service and asked about the ad. she had the flyers with the doublers behind the counter. i got the stink eye when i asked for more than one, but i explained to her that i’d bought 4 papers and none of the 4 had albie’s ads. she told me that people will all the time steal the ads out of the papers without paying for them. bummer.

i still have no albie’s ad (if there was more than just the doubler’s flyer) and a few items on the list mention an in-ad coupon.

  11. Tiffany Rohdenburg says:

I went over to the Lee store last night but they didn’t have the yogurts either so I didn’t try to do the GM deal there. I usually have fairly good experiences at the Gage store, too. I’m gonna try again tonight.

  12. Wow! I went to Pasco Albies today and I have never been so accomodated before. A employee was so helpful. I dont remember his name but he must have been a mgr because when I couldnt find what I needed for the Buy $30 get $15 sale, he told the cashier to substitute for me, crazy nice! It was a big hassle but he was really nice about it. Lee has crush cups if they didnt last night they do today.

  13. Their is several of the Litehouse products at the Clearwater store 2/4.00 so they were free (I got a thing of apple cider and carmel dip)

The McCormicks Seasonings are Buy 1 get 1 free and their is some on clearence and also a coupon for a 1.00 off so the cinnamon was 1.49 for 2 and I used a 1.00 coupon and doubled it so it was FREE. Great for Baking Season

The Tree Top Apple Juice is back in stock and they are 1.00 so if you use your 1.00/2 and a double they are free.

Im Lovin the doubles 🙂 for those of you not getting all your ads I suggest you get a subscription through Karrie every since I signed up I have had no problems and it is so nice to have all my papers on my door step Sunday am.

  14. There was a problem with almost all Stores/gas stations in Kennewick getting the Sunday insert. Called the Herald today and no one got back to me. I hardly ever go to the Gage Albertsons as they are not very coupon friendly at all. The one on Clearwater is Super and so is Lee. If you know what things you want to buy I suggest going into the store and asking them to order extra items for you. The one on Clearwater has been excellent about that and the whole staff knows me and my coupon buddy. When we went Sunday night they had everything but the yogurt but we already knew that the Diary products don’t come in until Mondays. Cases of paper towels and kleenex along with broth were extra ordered and we didn’t have to clean out the shelves. SO many of us couponers shop at Clearwater and just pre ordering makes it so much easier….the Manager and checkers don’t know what coupons are going to be good for match up on sales so just tell them and they will go out of there way to make sure there will be enough for everyone.

  15. The coupon you have posted for the Birdseye steamers is for the Green Giant steamers. Does not work. The coupon that you have posted for the Healthy Balance juice is $1/2 not $1/1. Just thought you should know.
