I have been asked by just about everyone (who has the guts to ask me..wink wink) if I make money by doing this blog. And the answer is –yes I do!  When I first started my blog it was just to share some deals with friends and family, and I didn’t even realize that you could make a little money by blogging.  After many months in I started learning the different ways I could monetize my blog and began making money. Mind you it took probably about 4 more months after that to make a measly $100.00..but it was something and I was thrilled. Am I getting rich though? Ummm…no. Not yet anyways. I still currently make under minimum wage for the hours I put into this..but sharing hot deals and freebies with you readers is something I LOVE to do, so it is worth it to me!

So why am I telling you all this?  The Federal Trade Commission has a law in effect where bloggers must make it publicly known when they have a material connection to something they are endorsing on their site.  So I wanted to make sure you understand and it is crystal clear that I do make money from this blog.  
 
I do work hard to bring as many great deals I can your way and so I feel that it is perfectly okay for me to be paid for my time and efforts. I have many costs involved in running a website including hosting, domain name fees, picture hosting, technical support and other numerous costs. So sometimes when I post a link for you to print a coupon out I will get a few cents from the manufacturer for each person who prints it out. Or when I post about a hot photo deal or freebie sometimes I also make a little money for doing so as well. I also accept paid advertising on my blog sidebar, including google ads, sponsors and other affiliate links.  That content, advertising space or post may not always be identified as paid or sponsored content.  So when you see a hot deal (and you wanna show me some love…) make sure and click on my links to do that deal!
 
I want to let you know that I am very particular about offers I share with you.  I also try really hard to choose legit or deals that are worth it, and the majority of the time I try the deal out myself first.  If I unknowingly make a mistake in a deal I post I would hope that one of my readers would bring it to my attention so I can retract and/or clarify it.  Do understand however that many grocery and drug store deals are regional and as I am blogging out of Eastern Washington my deals might be priced differently than yours.  Also, I am not affiliated in any way with the Grocery and Drug Stores that I do coupon match ups for. This is just a service I provide and those grocery stores probably do not even know I exist!

All opinions shared on here are 100% mine. I turn down offers constantly (even though I could make more money) because I do not feel it runs with my values or my blog readers. I do not charge for giveaways and I do not run sponsored posts (content that someone would pay me to say).  If I am doing a review on a company or product, I always give my true and honest opinions. If I like a product you will know, and if I don’t well then I will share that as well and tell you all how I think that company or product can improve. The compensation received on this blog will never influence the content, topics or posts made on this blog.
