  1. The McDonald’s on Court St in Pasco, WA refused to accept my $1 Off on their $1 Cherry Berry Chiller. Their rationale was that the $1 offer was a special price, and it would be a double discount for me to use the coupon on that size drink. They would allow me to upgrade to a larger size (and price) to use the $1 coupon. In the end, the cashier discounted the $1 drink accepting the change I had in my pocket, about 94-cents, rather than the $1.09 due with tax.
    I retained the coupon. Later I noticed it does say “not valid with any other offer, discount….”
