  1. I signed up and got this message,

“Thank you for registering with the National Consumer Panel.

Your household will be placed on our waiting list, and we will send you a scanner as soon as a spot on the National Consumer Panel becomes available for a household like yours. We look forward to your participation!”

Anyone know what sort of time frame that could mean?

  2. I waited for a few weeks. Then they emailed me saying I was “in” and sent me the scanner. 🙂 Keep those fingers crossed!

  3. I keep trying to sign up and after I fill out all of my info and then click continue and pop-up box comes up saying “Please complete the entire form before pressing continue” I filled everything in! TWICE! Any one else have this problem, or know how to solve it?

  4. Hi. I’m just wondering if anyone’s actually done this and can tell a bit about the experience. I’m always skeptical of “too good to be true.” The website does not give much info. If you’ve done this before, how long and what rewards have you gotten? Thanks!

  5. We have been on the panel for about a year and my mother-in-law has been with the program for about 20 years. It is a great program IF you have the time to scan everything you buy. I find that when i get home I just want to put everything away. You have to scan every item and enter ALL prices, very time consuming.

  6. After being on it for a year what sort of “rewards” have you received. Do the benefits outweight the hassle. Seems sort of time consuming.

  7. This is awesome! Thanks Karrie for passing this along 🙂

  8. I was on the panel for a year. If you have kids or buy more than a bag full it will take you forever. Then you have to look up stuff that does not have bar codes. You also have to send the information once a week on time. Then fill out survey about once a month. If you do stay with it the point you can get, they do have some nice prizes. But the really nice prizes you will be working for years for them.

  9. I signed up the end of December and was placed on the waitlist. they just called this week and told me I was accepted and will be sending my scanner.

  10. I got the scanner and couldn’t get it to send the information. I contacted them and then never got a response. I have a family of 8 and so I really thought about the time involved and decided it wasn’t worth it. Sent it back. While on it I did receive a cool fold-up cloth grocery bag.

  11. I am excited to try it-IF they contact me and send me the scanner:)

  12. With my family of eight and now, couponing…I am sending back my scanner. It is too much work for what you earn.

  13. It took a whole year for me to get my scanner and we did a whole bunch of groceries yesterday it took a looong time.

  14. A free vacation sounds pretty good to me 🙂
