Seattle Times Inserts VS Eastern WA Inserts

I wanted to see the difference between the coupon inserts that we get in Eastern Washington and Western Washington.  Yeah, I have been curious for awhile.  The Seattle Times Sunday Newspaper costs me $2.00 here in Eastern WA, however I am able to get the TriCityHerald Sunday paper for $1 per paper. {If you want that same deal email me!}

 I have noticed the last few months that the Seattle Times does not offer the RedPlum insert anymore which really takes a huge cut in their coupons. My vote at this point is to stick with the Eastern WA inserts..I get them cheaper and get more coupons per dollar.  I like to still buy one Seattle paper though, but I get my multiples of the TCH. What are your thoughts, do you only buy Seattle papers or Eastern WA papers?

  1. I’m not in Eastern WA, but I hate that the seattle paper doesn’t come with RP anymore. I don’t get copies in the mail so I have to track down copies of the local paper (for free, thankfully) and buy the Seattle Times or else but the Tacoma News Tribune (which gets about the same as the Tri City Herald).

  2. I live in the Seattle area and I get all the coupons you mentioned. The Red Plum comes on Wednesday in the mail with my Rite Aid, Walgreens, and other ads. Most of us around here see it as junk mail, so I get a couple of them each week from friends.
