  • {Ended} Silhouette SD Digital Craft Cutter Giveaway!

    February 23, 2011

    Oh happy day!! I am so excited I can hardly write this post. The wonderful company Silhouette is giving away to one lucky Happy Money Saver reader a beautiful brand new

    Silhouette SD Digital Craft Cutter machine!

    The winner will receive the Silhouette SD, 1 roll of black Vinyl, 1 roll of frostedVinyl, 1 roll of transfer paper, and a Home Décor CD of images! {valued at over $375!}

    What is the Silhouette you ask? Well, let me tell you. This cute little machine does EVERYTHING. It cuts Vinyl, Paper, Fabric, T-shirt Transfer material, Tattoo paper, Rhinestones and more! It is what I call my little makes-me-look-like-a-mommy-crafting-genius machine.

    The Silhouette machine is about the size of a small printer and is easy to use. All you have to do is plug it into your computer and into a power outlet and you’re good to go.  The Silhouette also comes with a software disc that you install on your computer. You can create your own designs or use the tons of graphics and shapes that it comes with.

    You get 50 great graphics and images to start using right away that come with the program. Then you can search for literally thousands more graphics in the Silhouette on-line store as well.   Most designs only cost 99¢, clearance designs are only 50¢, and there’s a new FREE shape posted every week. Add some designs to your cart, click the checkout button and your new fab designs will automatically install right into My Library – yours to keep. It doesn’t get better than that, does it?   You can get your images/graphics instantly and play around with them in the software program. Then when you are all ready you send the graphic to the Silhouette machine and it will CUT your images! LOVE it! You can do really AMAZING things with this Silhouette machine!!!

    Special Discount:

    {Because we all love a discount, right?} From now through March 1st you can go to Silhouetteamerica.com and use promo code SAVER where you can get a Silhouette Machine, 1 roll of black Vinyl, 1 roll of frostedVinyl, 1 roll of transfer paper, and a Home Décor CD of images for only $225 ($375+ value). And/or you can use that promo code to get 25% off all premium Vinyl as well. So if you don’t win this giveaway you can still get one at a great discount.

    My sister and I have been playing around with the Silhouette machine and having so much fun. We even came up with a thrifty birthday party theme all using the Silhouette that I will be posting about in the next few days {..and it’s so cute}. Stay tuned!

    Here are some things you can do with the Silhouette SD machine:

    Make totally awesome scrapbook pages…

    Vinyl –there is so much you can do with Vinyl…..

    I loved this idea of using vinyl on a glass block – made by Our Best Bites using the Silhouette:

    Silhouette Heat Transfers – so fun…..

    Make It and Love it made these sweet pouches using the Silhouette. I want to make one too!

    Tatertots and Jello made some cute onesies…

    Rhinestones!  We made this shirt – you can bling up anything…

    and here’s a sneek peek at the thrifty party theme we worked on {you’ll see the rest soon along with our other fun projects…}

    Oh there is so much you can make with this little wonder machine.
