Hmmm….my store told me no overage with doublers. And the way I read the new coupon policy was overage with a coupon. So like a regular coupon if it’s more than the price of the item you get the overage. But not when doubled. Have people gotten overage with doublers at Albies??

I did the last time we had doublers, right after the new coupon policy came out.

I read it the same way as LaToya. The whole purpose of giving overage with a regular coupon is the retailer gets reimbursed. With a double they are just losing money if they give overage. I personally think that trying to get overage with doublers is taking advantage of Albertsons. Just my opinion, I know everyone interprets differently.

In the Albertsons policy for twice the value coupons it says that you just can’t exceed a $1.00 coupon.

There is a discussion on the Albertsons facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/Albertsons/posts/10150478760389916

In the newest Albertsons coupon policy overage with doublers is not addressed, but after reading through that facebook discussion it looks like they will give overage. But since its not officially addressed, it is up to your managers discretion.

The $2/1 Old Orchard q says redeem at Hi Vee. My Albie’s told me that they have a corporate policy not to accept these. Safeway will though and it’s still a great q–just don’t want anyone to be dissappointed or surprised at Albies tomorrow.

The pepperidge farm coupon is for $1/2 crackers not $1/1.

Just a heads up to Tri-City folks…no Albertsons in Richland or Kennewick carry the Big Pack (14.99) of Pampers diapers. Huge bummer! Why was it in the ad??

This might be a silly question but when you have the coupons listed under and item are you saying that you would use all the coupons listed to get your final price or are you just listing coupon options? Just want to make sure I am not reading these listed incorrectly. Thx and Happy 2012!!

Hi Camille, thats not a silly question :)

I list as many coupons as I can find and you would pick which one was the highest value. That way if you already printed that $1/1 coupon and used it last week, and you cannot print more you will see other options for coupons. You must follow what the coupon says – so if it says Get $1.00 off one box you can only use one coupon on one box. Hope that helps!
