I was going to say the same thing about this gum scenario. Seems wrong to me! And also I believe the Ferrero coupon has a minimum size on it and the 3pks are too small, therefore that matchup wont work. ( I thought of doing it last time there were doublers but didnt once I checked the sizes.)
My store might let me do this as they will take a lot of coupons. I have used a B1G1 FREE coupon as well as a $1/2 before, I don’t see how that scenario is different. Please explain to me.
It is against coupon ethics because if you buy 3 packs of gum and use a $1 off 3 that coupon takes moneey off each pack and then if you try to use a buy one get one free on those same 3 packs you are using that bogo coupon on a pack of gum that already has a coupon. You can use a $1 off one pack and a buy 1 get 1 free because the $1 would attach to one pack and the bogo coupon goes to the 2nd pack. It shouldn’t matter if the stores accept it, it’s not right.
FYI – I was at the Gage store on Friday night and saw these coupons. I picked a few up and realized that the expiration date was Oct. 2011. I told someone and they took them down since they were expired. The store didn’t realize they were expired. My guess is that they just put up the display and didn’t even look to see when the coupons expired.
I posted in another area too Karrie — the International Delight coupon is for the quart size, and I would assume, at only $2.00 sale price, that the sale is on the PINT sizes. So, no free creamer.
I had $1/2 boxes of Nabisco crackers, with a doubler….then I had b2/g1 free coupon, and the cashier told me I could not use the b2/g1 coupon with the $1/2 manufacturer coupon…and told me what I was doing was “illegal”.
I was told I couldn’t use the b2/g1 coupon at Albertsons because it had a Walmart logo on it (even though it was a manufacturer coupon). Said it was in the new policy.
Albertsons doesn’t like to use multiple coupons on b0g0 coupons.
I tried to use a buy 2 get one free and a 1/1 to attach to the free item and was told that the first coupon attaches to all three items and therefore cannot use another coupon as it would be illegal stacking of man q’s.
THat is the same senario I am reading with the b2g1 and 1/2 or 1/3 coupon senarios I am reading previously.

Um, I think it is against coupon policy in general to try the gum scenario.
If you buy 6 you can either use
(2) $1/3 coupons
OR
(1) $1/3 and 3 B1G1 Free
Your scenario to use (2) $1/3 plus (3) B1G1 Free would mean you were using two different coupons for 3 of the items…

Oh no! Oops – I didnt even check the exp. date, wow. I will go and remove that deal, thanks!
Do you know how long the doublers are good for?

It would be nice to know which local Albertsons you visit being that all the tri-cities locations don’t always have the same prices.
Well, I change it up every time. This time I went to the Gage store.
sorry but what does YMMV mean
your manager may vary
Its actually YOUR MILAGE MAY VARY

Is this true?
