Did you all hear that Walmart has released a new, corporate wide coupon policy? Yep! And there are some GREAT changes. Here are the changes I like the most, but you can print out and read through the policy here.
- You can get overage from a manufacturer’s coupon at Walmart. If the value of the item you are buying is less than the coupon, you will get the overage to apply to another item in your transaction, or the cash back! (wow!)
- You can now use other stores Catalina coup0ns at Walmart You should be able to redeem catalina coupons from Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Safeway and even Walgreens Register Rewards at Walmart now.
- Walmart will accept competitor’s coupons (that have a specific price listed.) This one is not new but is clearly stated which I like – So for example you could use an Albertsons coupon that said Skippy peanut butter .99 with in-ad coupon, but you could not use a coupon from Albertsons that said “get $2.00 off” something. There has to be an actual price listed, not a price that says a certain $ amount off.
Those are my favorite aspects of this new Walmart Corporate Coupon Policy. Make sure and read through it, print it out and add it to your coupon binders or boxes just in case you run into trouble at the store.
