Freezing Green Onions in  Plastic Bottles

If you have green onions making a stink in your fridge too, I have an easy solution for you today!

Raid your recycling bin for an empty plastic water bottle.

Peel off the labels and clean the bottle in hot, soapy water. Ensure the bottle is completely dry; use a towel or air drying.

Chop green onions to desired size.

Use a spoon or makeshift funnel to add onions into the bottle. Securely screw the lid on to keep onions fresh.

Place the bottle in the freezer where space permits.

Then when you need the onions, reach back, grab the bottle, unscrew the lid and shake them into your recipe.
