Homemade Pizza Dough for the Freezer

The most delicious freezer pizza dough you’ll ever have! It’s super easy to make and ready in your freezer for homemade pizza anytime.

–active dry yeast –granulated sugar –water –olive oil –salt –flour

Ingredients:

The beauty of pizza is in its simplicity. With the most basic ingredients, you can create a dinner everyone loves and agrees on.

Combine yeast, sugar, and water in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook attachment.

Add oil, salt, and flour to the mixer bowl. Mix on low until well combined. Increase speed to high and knead for 5 minutes.

Grease a large bowl with olive oil or cooking spray. Add dough to bowl and turn dough over to coat opposite side in oil. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 45 minutes until doubled in size.

Stretch the dough or use a rolling pin to roll the dough out into a circle about 12-14 inches, depending on how thick you want your pizza dough

Top with pizza sauce and cheese, and toppings.

Divide the unrisen dough into half, then place each half into a gallon-sized freezer bag, each coated with a tablespoon of olive oil.

Seal bags, remove as much air as possible, and freeze for up to 3 months.
