Dropped off the Coupon Class donations last night…

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all of you who came to my coupon class last week. I had so much fun and I hope you were able to learn some new couponing tips and secrets to get you on your journey to save money at the grocery store.

As many of you know the class was free with 3 donations of food or toiletry items. I was overwhelmed with emotions when I went down to the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission and was able to drop off all your donations. Joy for the feelings of being able to help those in needs with the items you brought (and many of you brought more than the minimum of 3). Sadness for the hard lives many people living without homes, food or much clothing. When you go down there you can see it, these dear people trying to live day to day on nothing.  Your donations definately went to a great cause, so thank you so much!

I did plan on trying to get a cool picture of all the food right in front of the building..but as soon as I pulled up some kind men waiting for their meals and beds came quickly over to carry it all in for me like real gentlemen. Then they carried the food/toiletry items away to the back where they store it so I didnt get a picture. I did surprise a worker by taking this pic of him carrying back the empty bins though…ha ha.

Thanks again for all you do. I know many of you are so very generous with giving back and may God bless you. You can make a difference in this world for the better.
