Thanksgiving is nearly here. Tomorrow, whether you will be sitting down to a lovely warm meal with family or whether you will be cold, hungry or lonely, I hope you take a moment and think about how truly blessed you are. Each of us has something to be thankful for even when times are tough.
Here are just a few of my blessings and things I am thankful for.
My amazing family; each person so unique and wonderful. They make me smile, laugh, cry and sometimes pull-my-hair-out. None of us are perfect, but we love each other and that is enough. My sisters are the best friends anyone could ever have.
Good friends and you readers; for your continued support and love. I appreciate your deals you share with me to share with everyone, your kind words of encouragement and how you look past my spelling errors. This blog is a big part of my life and I am so glad you are apart of it.
My home; it’s nothing fancy but it’s warm and gives me me a place to spend time with family and loved ones. I am grateful to have someplace to call home when so many do not.
The Savior; For His sacrifice for me to be able to return to live with Him again someday. I stand in awe every time I think about the incredible future before me, with my family and Saviour, and that’s only the beginning. I can look forward to seeing my Grandparents and so many others when my life on this earth is completed.
I hope you all have a lovely, joyous Thanksgiving day. Please take a moment to think about the many blessings you have. The Lord has blessed my life in so many ways, I cannot even begin to number them all.
Happy Thanksgiving.
