I feel like there is always someone I need to be thanking. People are so awesome to me all the time. I have the BEST family and friends! The best neighbors, teachers, coaches, scout leaders, dance teachers and nice church members. Whew feels like I’m doing one of those Oscars speeches thanking everyone. Folks are always trying to do nice things for me. So today’s happy thought is all about saying thank you.
Have you ever had a friend help you out babysitting for a few hours and tell you not to pay? You say thank you but sometimes you want to do something nice for them too? Today’s happy thought is perfect for these kinds of situations. You could have this all packaged up and ready to go in the freezer for when you get back home to give to them as a “thank you”. I have done this many, many times and it never fails! I can’t even express to you the sheer joy I see in a friend’s face when I hand them this as a thank you.
“Scoops of Thanks” ice cream gift idea.
I mean, who would say no to ice-cream, right? Alright maybe you lactose intolerant crowd.
We know there’s only one reason for eating ice cream…….guilty pleasures! Am I the only one who thinks ice cream is even better when the kids are in bed?!
What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? I am in love with Tillamook’s Udderly Chocolate. I even took a picture of it for you, so now you go try it! White and milk chocolate swirled together with chocolate flakes. It always hits the spot- totally worth the calories! I bought this spoon at Fred Meyer for $1.49!
I already had some ribbon in my stash. This is what I did to attach the spoon:
1. Tie and knot ribbon around ice cream loosely.
2. I tied some scrap tulle to the spoon.
3. I put the spoon on the inside of the ribbon. It should be between the ribbon and ice cream.
4. Then I twisted the spoon around until it was tight.
OK, now it’s time to save this printable to your computer, print it out, cut it and tape it to your container. Make sure to wipe any frost on the container off. It can make the printable ink bleed. For best results make sure to print on card stock!!

Great idea, just wish that Tillamook ice cream was in grocery stores in the east. I love that brand.
