I have some Big news that you may or may not like..
Fistful of Coupons is getting a new name!
{Happy Money Saver}
Instead of fistfulofcoupons.com my new website name and address will be happymoneysaver.com.
I needed to change my name and hang up the fistful glasses for a number of reasons, and I hope you will all understand and come to love the new look and name like I have. Here are the reasons why I am changing my name:
#1)The name Fistful of Coupons is constantly spelled wrong. Everyone spells it Fist Full of coupons. Having a domain name where everyone misspells it is just frustrating.
#2) I have contacted the *blankety-blank* who purchased my misspelled domain name fistfullofcoupons.com and asked nicely if he would be willing to sell it to me. He did not even give me a ridiculous price, he just said “It’s not for sale.” So I do not have the option to buy that name.
#3) When you dear readers share my blog name with other people by word of mouth, most people type in the wrong address (fistfull with 2 ll’s) and bam it takes them to that other persons domain, which is basically a big google ad landing page. They go there and think “This is lame..what were my friends thinking?” Then they never go back. I am losing people coming to my blog and this makes me sad.
#4)I have been noticing that my fistful logo girl is poppin up all over the blog-o-sphere and is no longer unique. It is kind of annoying so I decided to go with a whole new look for my new blog happymoneysaver.com to avoid confusion.
The changes will be happening Wednesday (9/15/10). If you type in fistfulofcoupons.com it will be instantly redirected to happymoneysaver.com. You should all still get my updates via RSS Reader and my enewsletter still if you are already currently getting them.
There are also some improvements! There will be a single toolbar with dropdown menus. Plus I have a new search bar that should make everything easier to find. The colors should be a little easier on the eyes too. Feel free to go over today and have a preview look – happymoneysaver.com (Note: I am still working on a few things).
The biggest problem is my facebook fan page! I have to start all over there. (cry) Go on over and like me now at HappyMoneySaver so I don’t feel so lonely please. Who wants to be my first fan? Also, I have a new BUTTON so you will want to switch out your old button and replace it with my new one.
Because I love you all and realize that change is sooo hard I have decided to butter (bribe) you all up by doing a BIG giveaway to celebrate the change. Starting Wednesday on Happy Money Saver (details will be posted) you will have the chance to win a

I love your new logo! The family scene is a perfect picture of why most of us coupon. Having the individual store links is also very handy. And the new name Happy Money Saver rings true in my home as my hubbie is “happy” with the money we are saving by all the great deals you post!
