This is by far the dinner my kids request the most due to the fun factor - Doritos Taco Salad Recipe in a Bag! Doritos, taco meat, & cheese = perfection. happymoneysaver.com

This Doritos taco salad recipe has been mentioned multiple times by my children as being their most favorite dinner of all time. There is just something special about eating right out of a Doritos bag. The delicious crunch of the chips, the crisp fresh lettuce shredded to perfection, ground beef with just the right amount of spice. It’s so fun!

Great recipe! I absolutely love it. I had it for dinner, I am from South Africa so they usually don’t have this. Thanks!

Can you correct the carb count on this? The Doritos alone are usually about 16g so how does it total 0.6? Thanks!!

The high schools around us sell this at football and basketball games, although sometimes it is with Fritos. It is easy to put together, kids (and adults) love it and when sold in the snack bar, it makes $ for the athletic teams because it is a “fan favorite”.

Haha, my eldest and my husband would each eat a BIG bag of Doritos this way! I use Doritos for my taco salad, but I always buy the big bag and we dish it, but I love this idea, especially since it cuts down on the dish-washing. Thank you!

Yup, totally love this one!! Although most of the time we just buy the big bag of Doritos and make the salad in a bowl.

We do this with Fritos and canned chili instead of ground beef. We’ll definitely have to try it this way too. I LOVE how easy it is and my kids LOVE it!
