I was at Walgreens the other day and I to my surprise I saw some peeps. I thought they only came out at Easter, but apparently I was wrong. The only difference was instead of the cute bunnies or chicks that I was used to seeing, it was bright orange pumpkins. They were so cute! I had to have them. I decided to add them to some hot cocoa and they were delish. So I decided to make a cute Halloween treats for my neighbors. I call it Witches’ Brew!
To make: Fill a jar with some hot cocoa. Then use something to separate the cocoa from the peeps. (I cut out a piece of brown lined paper to separate the cocoa from the peeps, but you could use a zip lock bag or something else.) Add the pumpkin peeps and this spooky printable to go on the lid. To finish just add a little ribbon to glam it up.
Every October we “Boo” people’s houses. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, go here to find out and get a free printable.) It’s so fun to drive around my neighborhood and see all the houses that have been hit. However, year after year I’ve noticed many times the same people get the Halloween treats and others just get forgotten. So this year as a family we decided to Boo some of our awesome neighbors who sometimes get left out of this Halloween tradition. It was so fun! I loved watching my little munchkins ring the doorbell and run as fast as their little legs could carry them. Is it bad that I’m teaching my kids how to doorbell ditch at such a young age? 🙂
I created this printable tag to download!! Check it out.
See you next with with another Happy Thought!

GOLLY this is CUTE!! Karrie, Thank you so very much for all your awesome ideas and ways to be kind and thoughtful to others. It makes me love and share your blog all the time. Ditch and run….well since they are leaving bits of kindness and care in their wake, I think it is okay 🙂

These are so cute and clever! Where did you find your cute little jar?

It was actually an old tostitos salsa jar. 🙂 I save all my jars in case I might use them down the road for a craft or treat. Just make sure the jar is sanitized and has no lingering odors.
