Did you all know that today, March 1st is national Peanut Butter Lovers Day? So to celebrate this holiday I thought I would share with you all my favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Smoothie recipe.
Many years ago I used to work at the front desk of a gym. I loved working at a place filled with happy, motivated people trying to better themselves. While working there we made smoothies for people to buy and one of the top sellers was this Peanut Butter Chocolate smoothie. It sounded a little weird to me but one day I gave it a try. WOWZA..I was hooked. The Peanut Butter Chocolate smoothies became my all time favorite. Packed with protein, they’re smooth, creamy, rich, and delicious. I dare ya to try one!
Just so you know I make two different peanut butter chocolate smoothies at home. When I am trying to build muscle and workout I like extra protein so I buy Chocolate Protein whey powder from Costco. But if I am not working out and want less calories to lose weight, I just use cocoa powder instead. Both taste great. Usually I don’t add in a banana (my personal preference), but it is delicious in it as well if you like the fruit.

Hi! So, I made this recipe and I am IN LOVE. I used regular creamy peanut butter and nesquick instead of protein powder, and I love it so much! Thanks!

Would it work if I used chocolate soy milk instead of 1% milk? I’m not a huge milk fan in general and all I have on hand is chocolate soy.

I think that would work!

Is the cocoa powder just unsweetened cocoa or more like the powdered chocolate milk?
Happy.MoneySaver says
If you have a chocolate protein powder use that or I use unsweetened cocoa in the recipe!
