PHANTOM?! What is that?
“Phantoming” is something I grew up doing. But nobody knows what it is!
Let me enlighten you:)
Growing up we would make cookies for our friends/neighbors and instead of just going over there to give it to them, we spiced it up. We would leave it on their doorstep, ring the doorbell, then run and hide. The best part was finding a great spot to hide so you could see their face(s) when they opened the door.
I specifically remember one time my brother was about to get caught running away so he jumped in their garbage can! Oh, the things we do to not get caught! He had to stay in there awhile because they came out and tried to catch us!
During the summer my friends and I would “phantom” a lot to entertain us on lazy summer days. We would laugh and say, “The Phantom Strikes Again!”
So naturally, I had to teach my kids how to “PHANTOM”! Check out my PHANTOM your neighbor idea and my cute FREE PRINTABLES, too!
I have included TWO PRINTABLES so when you “phantom” someone for the first time you can use my “The Phantom Strikes” printable. Then when you phantom the same person again you can use the “The Phantom Strikes Again” printable.
I fancied my cravings this week and made some mini cheesecakes. They are a piece of heaven in a cupcake wrapper! I started by adding a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup on the bottom. Then I mixed up 2 packages of cream cheese, 2 eggs and one cup of sugar. Once that was mixed well, I scooped it on top of my Peanut Butter Cups and baked it at 350 for about 20 minutes. Then I chilled them in the refrigerator. These are DELICIOUS! We happen to have a fabulous neighbor who is a nurse at the hospital. We couldn’t resist, we had to share the love!
Click on one of these printables, copy and save it, then paste it in Word and size it there.
I printed off my printable on scrapbook paper, cut it out and taped it on to my box.
We were given a TON of cherries recently so I thought that would be nice to share–considering we can’t eat them all ourselves anyway. Our close friend is a diabetic and would like cherries more than a sugary treat. I thought this would be perfect for her. So I put some in a bag, printed out my printable, cut it out and stapled it to the baggie.
