Is this not one of the cutest ideas you’ve ever seen?! Happy Money Saver reader, Elizabeth found a way to turn the everyday grocery bag into a stylish, functional purse!
She first designed her own pattern, then crocheted bags together from Kroger, Publix, Piggly-Wiggly and “probably some from Home Depot”. 😉 And the results speak for themselves. {Isn’t that purse lovely???}
Oh and get this: she’s also made cosmetic bags, change purses, sewing kits and water bottle covers! {Pretty awesome, right?}
I love it when people turn what is often considered “trash” into “treasure”. It’s the perfect teaching tool to inspire the next generation to live a thrifty lifestyle instead of fixating on the newest, latest, most expensive item du jour!
For more information about Elizabeth’s purses, feel free to send her an email. Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth! You ROCK, girl.
