Today’s Thrifty Tip is to make your own Write & Wipe Boards.

No need to go out and buy expensive write and wipe workb0oks for your kids. You can make your own fun workbooks your kids can use over and over again, saving you money.

Just take a workbook, colorbook or print out some pages  and cover them with clear contact paper or page protector sheets.  Now you can write and wipe with dry erase markers, crayons,  grease pencils or washable markers.

Personally I didn’t have any contact paper or a laminating machine handy so I just found a binder, took some clear page protectors, added the workbook pages for my pre-school age son and let him go nuts with a few dry erase markers. When he was done, I just wiped it all clean and now its ready for the next time he wants to practice his letters or tracing. So fun and very very thrifty!

Pssssst...

Instead of printing pages, you can go to the $ store, buy 1 workbook, rip the pages out and put them in the page protectors! They can be used over and over again! We used to go through about a workbook a week! Not any more!
