10 Days of Thrifty Halloween Fun Ideas (Day #2) Creepy Snake Wreath

This looks soo scary and creepy! {I love it. } Martha Stewart shared this cute Snake wreath idea which I think could be really inexpensive to make. All you need is a wreath, some toy snakes (try the dollar store or you can buy a lot of 48 snakes on oriental trading company for $8 and make a few wreath’s to give out to friends + neighbors) and some black spray/acrylic  paint.  To make this even more scary I think it would be cool to get some red puffy paint and dot red eyes on each snake….

    I made 2 of these last night with the intension of painting them black,,,, but am so glad I didn’t. I like the colorful look to the unpainted wreath. The grapevine wreaths that I bought had more stems and curly-Qs than the one shown- bought them at Walmart for less than $3. With the colorful rubber snakes and the more “wild and natural” wreath, this is a great addition to my from door.
