This post is for all the baby mammas (and daddies) out there who are trying hard to save money, and give their babies healthy food. It’s all about making your own homemade make ahead and freeze baby food.

Making your own Homemade Make Ahead and Freeze Baby Food will save you time, money, and sanity. Plus, this baby food has added flavor to make your baby extra happy.

And no, I’m not pregnant or anything. Nor do I even have any babies around me, which is kind of sad!! I miss babies. The sweet smells, the snuggles..oh man. I need to stop thinking about babies before….well… (slaps herself) No. I have 4 kids and my twins just graduated. No. Just no, Karrie. No.

I just need to remind myself of all the other not so fun baby moments, like poop and not sleeping and fits.

There. That’s better. Moving on.

So today I just wanted to share some of my favorite baby food recipes because believe it or not, even babies like good tasting food!

Making your own homemade baby food is so so easy guys. Plus, you can freeze all of these recipes into individual portions so you can always have them on hand. I am sharing 3 of my favorite recipes that may increase your odds of your baby actually eating their food. Hee hee.

How to Make Homemade Make Ahead and Freeze Baby Food

The basis of making Homemade Make Ahead and Freeze Baby Food is to first cook the ingredients until tender, and then blend everything until smooth. If the consistency is too thick for your baby, then add water or breast milk until it is the consistency your baby will like.

Once the food is done, I like to add it to a silicone baby food freezer tray (like this one) for easy storage. Then, an hour or two before baby’s meal time, I pop one of the portions out and let thaw. You can even put them in reusable food pouches. These will save you so much money in the long run!

So glad to see this idea on your blog. I fed both of my babies using homemade baby food that I prepared and froze individual portions in ice cube trays. That was over thirty years ago, and I’m proud to say that this method saved our family a ton of money back then. try this for yourself and see how easy and thrifty it can be,

hello, just to mention to research more about the use of spices to add to baby foods, cinnamon , ginger as well as nugmet etc are irritants of the stomach, adults adults should use with caution,, babies , why dont make their foods using natural ingredients just as is.
