As you know I am in Hawaii right now, probably using this very recipe I am going to share with you. I am sure I will be applying sunscreen every 3 hours, but my pasty white skin will probably still burn! My bro in law Mark taught us this amazing recipe and has worked miracles on many of my own + my children’s sunburns (note:I wouldnt recomment if you have burnt your skin to the blistering state or worse..).

When you first notice you have a sunburn try to put this salve on asap. Sometimes the sunburns dont really show until the evening of an-out-in-the-sun-too-long event, so I will put it on the kids when they get ready for bed. By morning most of the sunburn has totally disappeared or significantly decreased. And this just makes me smile, who knew two little ingredients could make me so happy?

Take Aloe Vera + Vitamin E Oil

Use equal amounts, normally I use about a tablespoon of each. Just mix them together and apply all over any sunburns. By morning most of the pain and sunburn has disappeared for me!

Hope you never sunburn, but if you do, try this out! Its a pain-saver for sure.

Pssssst...

Great sunburn saver. But do you have a homemade recipe for sunscreen? I found ideas online but am not positive on trying them out. Thankx

Not yet, I was thinking of making some but you have to buy a weird ingredient to make it from scratch. I might do it though in the future. 🙂
