If you’re looking for a quick ‘n simple way to earn a little extra income from home, check out this list of legitimate online survey companies.
I have had some readers lately emailing me to ask about which survey companies are legit or worth their time. So today I wanted to list out some of the top rated survey companies, and some of the ones I have tried personally and know to be great. Most of these survey companies offer a cash payment, while others offer both cash and/or prizes!
Note: You should NEVER have to pay to join a survey company. Never ever. Also – it’s a good idea to set up a separate email account for your surveys as you will get a lot of emails.
Now you’re not going to be able to quit your job, or become a millionaire from doing these but it’s always nice to get checks in the mail, free gift cards, and some extra gas, grocery, and shopping money!

Pinecone Research - Upon approval into their program you will receive survey’s via email. For each survey you complete you will receive $3.00 and paid by check through the mail or paypal. Ipsos just merged with Synovate Global Opinion Panel. It will be interesting to see how it goes, Synovate has been my favorite survey company for a long time, but have not really been impressed with Ipsos. Hopefully things won’t change too much.
You definately won’t get rich taking surveys, but I find it fun to do them while watching tv and have been able to test a ton of new products out. Many companies will send out full size products for you to test out and respond to a follow up survey regarding your experience. I’ve had everything from frozen dinners to 20 lbs of Cat food shipped to me.
Most important tips: Never pay for anything on a survey site. There are some that make it sound legit, they’ll send you a list of survey companies that no one else has. All of that information can be found online for free! If a company offers you a large amount of money to do some quick survey, it’s not legit. Think about it, no one is going to send you a $100 Walmart card for taking a 10 minute survey. If it sounds too good to be true, than just skip it!
SurveySpot is my favorite. OpinionOutpost and ValuedOpinions are good too. I prefer the ones that pay PayPal because the check-sending companies usually take at least 2 months to send the checks. There’s a bunch more here: http://www.surveyearnings.net/?page_id=104
I prefer Values Opinions ! You dont have to wait for the gift card you can use the onlines codes right away . I always use Amazon Gift Cards !!!
