Last night I finished up all my last minute shopping. Me and my daughter went to the Columbia Center Mall because she wanted to meet and get photos with Santa!  She sat on his lap and I noticed Santa didn’t say much, but that didn’t stop my girl – she started just chatting it up! Asking him where his sleigh was, and telling him what she wants for Christmas (which is Calico Critters and Woodzeez with a house).   She HAD to wear her crown too for Santa – it was pretty cute.

We got a picture so she can put it up in her room.

Oh and just so you know the Santa pictures are still going on – every day from like 11-8pm ish – check Columbia Center Facebook for times as well as a coupon!

Anyways, back to talking about being done. I was most of the way done by December 1st this year because it was a big goal so that I could enjoy this season. And I really have enjoyed December a lot more than I usually do.  I made my own advent calendar with fun things to do – and we did MOST of them…  Some we did skip, but it’s okay. We did make quite a few nice Christmas memories this year and hey, that’s what it’s all about. The memories.

Next up – Christmas in Canada again…will we all survive the cold and annoying accents? Only time will tell, eh?  🙂 But the good news is…a Canadian Chocolate giveaway in in the near future..mmmm!

So how are you doing on your lists?  Are you done with your shopping? Last minute shopper?

Pssssst...

Call me a glutton for punishment, but I couldn’t resist going out again to Freds for their Chex .92 cents a box cereal, the .99 Oregon Chai drink (in the health food section with IP’s from coupons.com), the Farmland Bacon and Challenge Butter (both with in-ad and manf coupons).

I agree Merrilee, I liked that I wasn’t feeling rushed like other shoppers. I also had the last two free Redbox codes to use up from the Walgreens Thanksgiving promo from a local new Wags. Cheap cereal and free movies—gotta love that! 🙂

I finished Xmas shopping a month ago…but little errands like a last minute trip to the Post Office today and getting the car serviced yesterday made me realize how crazy I was just driving out on the streets! Doh! I might as well been doing last minute shopping!! LOL 🙂

Oh I know what you mean, its a mad house everywhere right now. When I went out last night everything was so busy, and long lines. Crazy! Glad to be done.

I was kiddin’ – just seein if any Canadians will notice. Ha ha! Actually the accents don’t bother me at all…in fact by the end of the time I usually spend up there I am usually saying things in their accent too. 😉
